If you searched ticketlink live arena protest, here is the short version. One building in Seoul's Olympic Park has been blocked by a protest since 5 June 2026: Ticketlink Live Arena, the venue most Koreans still call the Handball Gymnasium. Every other stage in the park has kept running. As of 9 September 2026, twelve named shows have been cancelled or moved out of that one building, and four of them still need something from ticket holders: two rebookings, D.O. of EXO (from 14 September) and Lee Changsub (moved to a university hall, rebooking dates not yet announced), and two cancellations with refunds to check.

Everything below was read from the Ticketlink notices and the Korean reporting that quotes them, on 2026-09-09. Where something is not published anywhere, this page says so.

First: is your show in the blocked building?

Olympic Park (올림픽공원, Ollimpik-gongwon) has several separate venues. Only one is blocked. Check the venue name printed on your ticket against this table.

Venue on your ticketShows registered 9 Sept to 31 Dec 2026Status as of 9 September 2026
Ticketlink Live Arena, formerly Handball Gymnasium (티켓링크 라이브 아레나, Tikeollingkeu Raibeu Arena)1 (Kim Yong-bin, already cancelled)Blocked since 5 June, 95 days as of 8 September. Every show here has been cancelled or moved
KSPO Dome, the Olympic Gymnastics Arena (KSPO돔, KSPO-dom)6Open. Stray Kids played five nights here from 25 July to 2 August
Olympic Hall (올림픽홀, Ollimpik-hol)7Open. LiSA played 1 to 2 August
88 Lawn, outdoor (88잔디마당, 88 Jandi-madang)1Open. Sung Si-kyung played 5 to 6 September

We also checked the national performance registry (KOPIS) for every popular-music show listed at Olympic Park between 9 September and 31 December 2026. There are 15: six at KSPO Dome, seven at Olympic Hall, one on the 88 Lawn, and one at Ticketlink Live Arena, which is Kim Yong-bin's already-cancelled show. NCT 127, &TEAM, AKMU, EXO and Lee Seung-chul are all KSPO Dome. izna and 10CM are Olympic Hall. Note that D.O. and Lee Changsub are not in the registry at all, so this count does not include them.

What actually happened, in three sentences

The Handball Gymnasium was used as the vote-counting centre for Korea's 3 June 2026 local elections. On the morning of 5 June, protesters disputing the count blocked all eight entrances, and they have stayed. On 8 September, after 95 days, sports federations that have offices inside entered with police support to take out equipment for the Asian Games, but Korean broadcasters reported dozens of protesters still at the gates the next morning, and nothing about the building reopening for concerts.

The damage, according to venue data submitted to the National Assembly on 28 August: 15 bookings between 6 June and 27 September cancelled or relocated, 1.07 billion won in venue fees refunded on 13 of them, and roughly 94,000 ticket holders affected. That figure was compiled on 28 August and has not been updated since, so the D.O. and Lee Changsub changes came after it.

The twelve shows we could name

Korean outlets keep quoting the number 15, but no article lists all 15. These are the ones that have been named, in order of what you need to do.

The first four rows are the live ones. The other eight are already in the past and are listed so you can see the pattern: July and August shows could move to Jamsil Arena, but that arena stops hosting from 21 September, which is why the late-September shows were cancelled outright rather than moved. Our Jamsil Arena closing guide has the details.

D.O. DAY OFF in Seoul: the rebooking calendar in Korean time

The dates did not change. 2, 3 and 4 October 2026, now at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, Hall 5 in Goyang, north-west of Seoul. Every existing booking was voided at 14:00 KST on 8 September. Card payments are reversed automatically and land in 5 to 7 days depending on the card company; if you paid by bank transfer, you must enter a refund account under My Page on Ticketlink. You do not need to cancel anything yourself, and Kyunghyang reported on 8 September that anyone who cancelled on their own before the bulk cancellation loses their presale eligibility.

Limits: 1 ticket per person in the presale rounds, 2 tickets per person in the general sale including anything bought in presale. One thing we could not confirm: whether an overseas fan with no previous booking can join the 21 September general sale through the global page. The official notice describes the global rounds for existing bookers only. Read the Ticketlink global notice for your case.

Hall 5 is inside Exhibition Center 1, not Center 2. The two are different buildings with one street address, and the halls are numbered 1 to 5 in Center 1 and 6 to 10 in Center 2. Our KINTEX halls and getting-there guide covers the walk from GTX-A KINTEX station. Seat counts for Hall 5 are not published, because KINTEX is an exhibition hall and the promoter builds the seating each time.

Lee Changsub, Unknown in Seoul: new dates, new building, no rebooking date yet

This one changed both date and venue. The Seoul stop of Lee Changsub's Unknown tour was 9 to 11 October at Ticketlink Live Arena. It is now 16 to 18 October at Kyung Hee University Grand Peace Palace (경희대학교 평화의전당, Gyeonghui-daehakgyo Pyeonghwa-ui-jeondang) in Dongdaemun-gu, eastern Seoul. Ticketlink's 8 September notice says the new hall is structurally very different, so all existing bookings will be voided and rebooked.

As of the morning of 9 September, no article states when bookings will be voided, how refunds will be paid, or when rebooking opens. We looked. If you hold a ticket, open your Ticketlink booking page once a day until the notice appears, and do not cancel on your own in the meantime, for the same reason as the D.O. case.

Cancelled shows: what refund to expect

  • Kim Yong-bin, Serenade (19 to 20 September). Cancelled on 1 September via the Ticketlink product page. Bookings were bulk-cancelled and full refunds are being paid in sequence.
  • JO1, JO1DER SHOW 2026 in Seoul (26 to 27 September). Cancelled on 3 August by the agency. The Korean reports describe the reason but not the refund method, so check the Ticketlink global notice or your booking page.

In both cases the promoter cancelled, not you, so the fee ladder that applies to voluntary cancellations should not apply. Confirm the amount that actually lands, though; we did not open a refund screen ourselves.

Checklist if you hold a ticket for anything in Olympic Park

  • Read the venue name on the ticket. If it is not Ticketlink Live Arena or Handball Gymnasium, this page does not apply to you.
  • If it is, open the ticket agent's notice and find which of two words it uses: 일괄 취소 (bulk cancellation) or 좌석 재배정 (seat reassignment).
  • Bulk cancellation: check that the refund reached your card, then put the rebooking date and time in your calendar in KST.
  • Seat reassignment: check whether the notice offers a refund if you dislike the new seat.
  • Do not cancel on your own while waiting. In the D.O. case that cost people their presale place.

Korean words on the venue-change notice

  • 티켓링크 라이브 아레나 (Tikeollingkeu Raibeu Arena) - Ticketlink Live Arena. The blocked building.
  • 핸드볼경기장 (Haendeubol-gyeonggijang) - Handball Gymnasium. The same building's old name, still used in most Korean news.
  • 일괄 취소 (ilgwal chwiso) - bulk cancellation. The promoter voids every booking at once.
  • 재예매 (jae-yemae) - rebooking. A new purchase, not a transfer of your old seat.
  • 선예매 (seon-yemae) - presale. Round 1 and 2 for D.O. are this.
  • 좌석 재배정 (jwaseok jaebaejeong) - seat reassignment. What Yunho's promoter did instead of rebooking.
  • 환불 (hwanbul) - refund.

Questions people ask

Where is Ticketlink Live Arena in Seoul, and is it open?

It is the former Handball Gymnasium inside Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, south-east Seoul, near Olympic Park station on Line 5. It has been blocked by a protest since 5 June 2026 and, as of 9 September, no concert has been held there since.

Is the KSPO Dome affected by the Olympic Park protest?

Not according to anything we could find. KSPO Dome is a separate building in the same park, shows have run there all summer, and six more are registered through December 2026. We cannot promise the future, only what has happened so far.

When is the D.O. DAY OFF Seoul rebooking for overseas fans?

The global presale for overseas fans who already held a booking is Tuesday 15 September 2026 at 20:00 KST, and the global second presale is Friday 18 September at 20:00 KST. General sale opens Monday 21 September at 20:00 KST; whether new overseas buyers can join it through the global page is not stated in the notice.

Where did Lee Changsub's Unknown concert in Seoul move to?

To Kyung Hee University Grand Peace Palace in Dongdaemun-gu, on 16 to 18 October 2026, a week later than the original 9 to 11 October dates. Rebooking details had not been announced as of 9 September.

Will I get a refund if my Ticketlink Live Arena concert was cancelled?

Yes for the cases reported so far: Park Seo-jin and Kim Yong-bin were refunded in full by the promoter, and D.O.'s voided card bookings are reversed automatically, with bank-transfer buyers entering a refund account. JO1's refund method was not described in the reports we read.

Is Ticketlink Live Arena the same as the Olympic Handball Gymnasium?

Yes. The Handball Gymnasium was renamed Ticketlink Live Arena under a naming-rights deal, and Korean news uses both names for the same building.

How this page was made

The venue-change and rebooking facts were read from the Ticketlink official notice for the D.O. shows, the Ticketlink product pages, and Korean reports that quote the notices, on 2026-09-09. The venue-by-venue status table comes from the national performance registry (KOPIS) listing for 9 September to 31 December 2026, 335 records, filtered to Olympic Park. The 15-booking figure is from data the venue operator submitted to the National Assembly on 28 August 2026, as reported by several outlets. Nothing here is a personal account: we have not attended these shows and we do not sell tickets.
