KSPO DOME Seoul: Seat Map, Bag Rules, and Getting Home

KSPO DOME hosts a large share of Seoul's K-pop concerts. Two things surprise people who have a ticket but have not yet arrived: the general seating chart is not the chart for your concert, and the building sits inside a park, so the correct address can still leave you a long walk from the door.

Two seat maps, and only one of them is yours
The operator publishes a general seating chart for the hall, and it is worth a look: it shows you the shape of the bowl, which blocks sit where, and roughly how high the upper tiers go. Use it for that.
What it does not show is your concert. The operator describes the hall as having retractable seating and an overhead rigging system, so the stage position, the floor layout and the blocks actually sold change from event to event. A floor that was standing for one tour can be seated for the next.
Where to read yours. For your actual block, row, floor setup and stage direction, use the seating plan published for your date. It lives in two places: the booking page for that specific show on the ticketing site you bought from, and the promoter's notice for the concert. Where the general chart and your show's plan disagree, your show's plan is the one that binds.
The same goes for seat-view photos. A photo from block 205 at last year's concert was taken with a stage that may not be where your stage is.
How many seats: two figures, both from the operator
| What the operator publishes | Figure |
|---|---|
| Capacity | 15,000 seats |
| Capacity, stated elsewhere on the same site | 14,594 |
| Floors | 3 above ground, 1 below |
| Total floor area | 30,548 m² |
| Dressing rooms | 12 |
Both numbers are the operator's own, on the same site. We are not picking one. If a capacity figure matters for a decision you are making, the seat map for your show is the only version that binds.
Bags and luggage: the rule changes, the arithmetic does not
Be careful with any page that states a fixed bag rule for this venue. We did not find a permanent, venue-wide bag policy on the operator pages we checked on the dates listed at the bottom. For concerts, the rules that are actually enforced come from your ticketing page and the promoter's notice for that show, so read those.
What does not change is where a suitcase can go. Seoul's subway lockers are branded T-Locker, and the operator publishes the whole network:
| T-Locker, network-wide | Figure |
|---|---|
| Stations served | 273 |
| Locker banks | 336 |
| Individual lockers | 5,557 |
| Average per bank | about 17 |
| Set against a hall of | 15,000 seats |
Do the division. A bank of roughly seventeen lockers, against a hall the operator puts at 15,000 seats. Arriving with a suitcase and expecting to store it at the station on the night is not a plan.
Better options, in order: leave it at your hotel, ask your hotel to hold it after checkout, or store it in the morning at a large interchange rather than at the venue an hour before doors. Seoul Station, Myeongdong, Hongik University and Gangnam carry far more lockers than a residential station like Olympic Park.
| Locker size | Dimensions (cm) | Weekday, first 4 hours |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 50 × 30 × 60 | 2,200 won ≈$1.59 |
| Medium | 50 × 45 × 60 | 3,300 won ≈$2.38 |
| Large | 50 × 90 × 60 | 4,400 won ≈$3.18 |
After the first four hours the fee runs 500, 800 and 1,000 won ≈$0.72 per hour by size. A large locker takes a normal check-in suitcase.
Getting there: Exit 3, then East Gate 2
| How | Where exactly | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Subway, Lines 5 and 9 | 올림픽공원역 Olympic Park Station, Exit 3 | The operator's own answer. Use this one |
| Subway, Line 8 | 몽촌토성역 Mongchontoseong Station, Exit 1 | Works, and useful if Line 8 is your line |
| Park gate | 동2문 East Gate 2 or 북2문 North Gate 2 | The closest gates to the dome |
| Taxi | Show the address card below | Seoul fares start from 4,800 won ≈$3.47 |
Olympic Park has several gates spread around a large site. Getting off at the right station and leaving by the wrong exit is the difference between a short walk and a detour around the park perimeter, in a crowd, in the dark.
Do not drive: 181 parking spaces
The lot nearest the dome is P5. The operator lists it at 181 spaces, open 06:00 to 22:00 KST, at 600 won per 10 minutes for a standard car and 1,200 won ≈$0.87 for a large one.
Set that against 15,000 seats. For example, that ratio is worse than Gocheok Sky Dome, which has 484 spaces for 16,601 seats — and Gocheok is already a venue where driving is a bad idea. The lot also closes at 22:00 KST, which is around when a concert crowd is still leaving the building.
After the show: count transfers, not minutes
Olympic Park Station is P550 on Line 5 and 936 on Line 9, and it is an express stop on Line 9. That second line is the useful one, and most guides skip it.
| Where you are going | How | Transfers |
|---|---|---|
| Gimpo Airport | Line 9 straight through to Gimpo International Airport (902) | 0 |
| Incheon Airport | Line 9 to Gimpo, then the AREX airport railroad | 1 |
| Hongdae | Line 9 to Dangsan (913), then Line 2 | 1 |
| Myeongdong | Line 5 to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park (536), then Line 4 | 1 |
Why transfers and not minutes. Journey times published for a quiet afternoon do not survive fifteen thousand people leaving one building at once. The number of transfers is fixed by the network and does not change on a concert night, so that is the number we give you. If your show falls on the last night of your trip, note that Line 9 reaches Gimpo without a single change.
Before you go: the short checklist
- Read the seat map published for your own date, not a general chart.
- Check the promoter's notice for the bag rule on your date.
- Do not bring a suitcase. Store it where you are staying.
- Know your exit before you board: Exit 3 on Lines 5 and 9.
- Do not plan to park. The nearest lot holds 181 cars and shuts at 22:00 KST.
- Save the Korean address card below, and the older venue name with it.

Two names, and the older one has more history behind it. The venue was renamed KSPO DOME, but it was the Olympic Gymnastics Arena for decades. If 케이스포돔 does not work, try the older name: 올림픽체조경기장.

Frequently asked
Where do I find the KSPO DOME seat map for my concert?
On the booking page for that specific show, and in the promoter's notice. The operator's general chart shows the shape of the hall, but the hall has retractable seating and the stage and floor layout change per event, so only your show's plan tells you where your seat actually is.
How many seats does KSPO DOME have?
The operator publishes 15,000, and states 14,594 in another place on the same site. Read the seat map for your own show rather than either figure.
Can I store a suitcase at KSPO DOME?
Plan on no. The subway locker network averages about 17 lockers per bank across 332 banks, against a hall seating 15,000. Store luggage where you are staying instead.
What is the bag policy at KSPO DOME?
We found no permanent venue-wide policy on the operator pages we checked. Read your ticketing page and the promoter's notice for your date.
Which subway exit is closest to KSPO DOME?
Exit 3 at Olympic Park Station on Lines 5 and 9, according to the operator. From Line 8, use Exit 1 at Mongchontoseong Station.
Can I reach the airport from KSPO DOME after a concert?
Line 9 runs from Olympic Park to Gimpo International Airport with no transfer. Incheon needs one change, to the AREX line at Gimpo. Check the last train for your date before you count on it.
Is KSPO DOME the same as the Olympic Gymnastics Arena?
Yes. Same building, older name, and the older name has been in use far longer.
How this page was made
Written from the operator's Korean pages and Seoul Metro's published locker figures, read on the dates below. It is not a report of a visit. Where the operator's own pages disagree, both figures are shown. Seating and bag rules are set per event and are not stated here as fixed.
