Update, 30 September 2026: this exhibition's run ended on 27 September. The Naver booking steps below still apply to other Seoul exhibitions and pop-ups. For what is on next, see our November and December K-pop lists.

If you searched bigbang cosmos exhibition and hit a Korean booking page you could not get past, you are not alone. The BIGBANG exhibition in Seoul sells tickets through Naver Booking (네이버 예약) — the channel named in the city's announcement and on the official booking page — and it closes on 27 September 2026. From 18 September that leaves nine opening days, because Monday 21 September is a closing day.

Naver is Korea's main portal, and its booking flow was built around Korean phone numbers. What changed this year: since 4 June 2026 Naver has offered passport verification (여권 인증) for users without a Korean number. This guide covers that route, where the entrance actually is, and what happens at the door and at the merch counter.

Everything below was checked on 2026-09-18. Where a detail comes only from visitor reports rather than an official notice, we say so.

Where and when is the BIGBANG exhibition in Seoul?

The main exhibition sits in a tunnel 13 m under Seoul Plaza, between City Hall Station and Euljiro 1-ga Station. The tunnel is 335 m long and was unused for about forty years before the city converted it. The exhibition's official Naver Booking page lists the venue as Dududu Seoul (두두두서울), 42 Eulji-ro, Jung-gu, and marks it no parking. This is the place people mean when they search bigbang exhibition seoul.

  • Dates: 24 August to 27 September 2026, closed every Monday
  • Hours: 10:00 to 22:00, entry on the hour in 1-hour slots
  • Capacity: 12 slots a day, 100 people per slot
  • Price: KRW 20,200 per person
  • Booking: Naver Booking only — the official COSMOS booking page; the listed enquiry number is 0502-6814-4943

Korea's Chuseok holiday falls on 24 to 26 September this year. We found no notice of a holiday closure, only the Monday rule. Check that your date is open on the booking page before you plan around it.

How do you book the BIGBANG exhibition on Naver without a Korean number?

Most bigbang exhibition naver questions end at the same screen: identity verification.

Without a Korean phone number, identity verification is the main hurdle — that is what most naver booking foreigner and naver reservation foreigner questions come down to. The route below is the one Naver itself announced.

  1. Create a Naver account if you do not have one. We could not independently confirm today's sign-up flow for overseas numbers, so check Naver's sign-up page before you rely on it
  2. Verify with your passport. Naver launched passport verification on 4 June 2026 for foreign users who cannot verify with a Korean mobile number. According to Naver's help page, the passport must be issued by a country other than Korea, must not be expired and must not already be linked to another ID, and the name and date of birth must match your Naver account. You photograph the passport with your phone camera, then a face check matches you to the passport photo. Naver said this unlocks Naver Map reservations, ordering and payment
  3. Open the exhibition's Naver Booking page (the naver reservation bigbang fans are looking for), choose an open date and hourly slot, and continue to payment

What we could not confirm: which foreign card brands clear the payment step for this particular booking. We did not book a slot ourselves, so we are not going to guess. If your card fails, a Korean friend booking on your behalf is the common fallback, but note the ID check below — the booking and the person at the door need to line up.

Can you just walk in?

Officially, no. The city's opening announcement said tickets would not be sold on site.

Two Korean visitor reports (published 31 August and 16 September) say something different: that leftover seats in a slot can be bought on site. We could not find an official notice confirming that. If you are flying in for this, book. Treat walk-in as a bonus, not a plan.

Where is the entrance? Head for the Euljiro 1-ga end

The official booking page gives the directions as the Euljiro 1-ga Station (을지로입구역) ticket gates, exit 1-1 direction. Three visitor reports add that the City Hall end is the exit, not the way in. Euljiro 1-ga is on Seoul Subway Line 2. Once you are near exit 1-1, posters line the passage and lead you to the door.

The booking page marks the venue no parking, so take the subway.

What happens at the door?

All three visitor reports we read say staff checked two things: the Naver booking and photo ID. Bring your passport, and check the booking page notice for the current rule before you go. Visitors then received a wristband, an MD order sheet, a leaflet and a random photocard, and one report says distribution started about 20 minutes before the slot.

Inside, you walk the tunnel through 11 zones: a mirror room with the lyrics of the debut song LALALA running across the floor, a headphone corridor, a lightstick room with every generation of the BIGBANG lightstick, a VR zone with the new song BiiiG, and hologram rooms. Visitor reports say photos were allowed but video was not; follow staff guidance on the day. Allow 60 to 90 minutes including the merch counter.

The exhibition switched to Phase 2 on 15 September. Visitor reports say the VR film, the hologram content and the MD bonuses changed between phases, so Phase 1 visitors are seeing something new.

How does the BIGBANG exhibition MD and COSMOS merch counter work?

These rules come from September visitor reports, not an official notice.

  • You tick items on the order sheet and pay at the counter
  • One random photocard for every KRW 100,000 spent, up to 2 per person
  • Hologram photo: one member per person
  • No exchange or refund once you leave, so check items at the pickup counter

The 16 September report noted that popular bigbang cosmos merch items sold out and restocks were not daily. Ask at the counter before you pay for something that may be gone.

How the exhibition compares with BIGBANG concert tickets

The concerts are a different story. BIGBANG's three Hong Kong nights at Kai Tak Stadium (13 to 15 November) sold out two minutes after general sale opened at noon on 17 September, according to the organiser. Face value was HK$699 to HK$3,099 plus a HK$130 fee. Front seats were then reported changing hands for more than CNY 30,000.

The XX : COSMOS tour runs to 19 cities and 36 shows. After Hong Kong, the official list continues with Osaka (27 to 29 Nov 2026), Nagoya (5 to 6 Dec 2026), Tokyo (13 to 15 Dec 2026), Fukuoka (26 to 27 Dec 2026), Kuala Lumpur (9 Jan 2027), Jakarta (16 Jan 2027), Manila (20 Feb 2027) and Kaohsiung (27 to 28 Feb 2027). The BIGBANG Seoul 2026 concert dates were three nights at Goyang Stadium, just outside Seoul, in August, and no further Korean date was listed when we checked. Some shows on the official page carry a SOLD OUT label, but Hong Kong's "get tickets" button was still showing on 18 September after the organiser announced the sell-out. Do not read the button as availability.

Next to that, a KRW 20,200 slot in central Seoul is a much smaller hurdle. Naver's passport verification opens the reservation flow to overseas visitors, though we did not complete a booking ourselves or confirm which foreign cards work.

What could we not confirm?

Whether the exhibition opens over Chuseok (24 to 26 September). Whether Trip.com also sells exhibition tickets to overseas visitors: we saw one unofficial mention but could not find it on an official page, so we have not listed it as a booking route. Whether leftover seats are officially sold on site. Which foreign cards pass Naver's payment step for this booking. Where the facts come from: schedule, capacity, price and booking policy from the city's announcement; address, directions and parking from the official Naver Booking page; the passport route from Naver's announcement; tour dates from YG; Hong Kong prices and the sell-out from News1 and Dimsum Daily. Door, photo and merch details rely on September visitor reports and may change.

Before you go

  • Book on Naver Booking; closing day is Sunday 27 September, and Monday 21 September is closed
  • For naver booking without korean number, verify your Naver account with your passport first — the name and birth date must match
  • Bring the same passport to the door
  • Go to the Euljiro 1-ga Station ticket gates, exit 1-1 direction; there is no parking
  • Visitors report photos yes, video no; allow 60 to 90 minutes
  • If you own a BIGBANG lightstick, visitors recommend bringing it for photos in the lightstick room
